It is painfully hard to admit that there are many things in the Bay that make me uncomfortable with who I am.
It's just that... when you grow up in the Bay, do you compare everything else to it?
Oakland is so desperately interesting.
I say that with both spite and truth.
I spend many sleepless nights on the Internet searching for the answers.
Most times, I realize that it makes me hate what I know I like.
Like mash ups and music that makes me dance.
It's like art school. Everyone is trying to be so fucking cool, except when you know you are cool, you begin to hate yourself for selling out.
What the fuck.
This is like talking about high school like it only hypothetically happened.
